Babcock is “younger generation”? Graduated in 1992 and has worked for 6 universities in about 2 1/2 decades. Maybe that’s “young” in the AD world, but he’s close to 50 years old if not already 50. Not old, but would not classify him as “new” or “younger” given his tenure at JMU, Auburn, WVU, Mizzou, UC and now Tech.
What brings value to Whit is his experience. I’m glad Tech didn’t take chances with a young unknown commodity.
